Confirm which companion lost which memory
Open the group settings and list each companion’s scope. Then inspect the relevant memory panel and the one-to-one chat that uses the same group. A private group-chat memory is not expected to appear in a separate one-to-one chat.

Check recent group edits and locked assignments
- Record the current group members and scopes.
- Review whether the group was edited recently.

- Do not delete the group or its source chats during diagnosis.
- Create a new test group only after preserving the original configuration.

A memory absent from the panel suggests removal or a different scope. A visible memory that is not used suggests recall rather than deletion. If only one member is affected, compare that member’s scope with the others instead of rebuilding the whole group. Correct isolation between private and shared scopes is not a reset.
The changelog previously listed a bug where editing a group chat reset member memories. That is relevant historical evidence, not confirmation that every current missing memory has the same cause.

Send support the group name, members, per-companion scopes, Memory Group names, time of the edit, and screenshots. Do not rebuild the group first if the original state is needed as evidence.
