Quick answer: Open My Collection, add a small set of reusable tags to important images and videos, then use the tag and generation-mode filters documented in the current help page. Use prompt or model filters only when those controls are visible in your account.
Know what the Collection is for
My Collection is the retrieval layer for generated images and videos and, according to the current bundle documentation, owned bundle content. It is not a replacement for chat history, saved memory, or a Public Profile. Organizing the Collection helps find media; it does not change what a companion remembers.

Create a small tag vocabulary
- Open My Collection.
- Select the plus control shown on an image or video.
- Choose an existing tag or create a new one.
- Use the tags at the top of the Collection to filter results.
Use stable categories such as project, scene, status, or favorite. Examples include “Beach,” “Cyberpunk,” “Needs edit,” and “Portfolio.” Avoid creating a separate tag for every color, pose, and minor variation.
Use documented mode filters first
The current Tips & Tricks page documents filters for Premium, Advanced, and Edit image modes. A February 2026 changelog entry also records prompt search and model filtering, but the current help page does not describe those controls. Use them only when they are visible in the live Collection interface; do not depend on an older release note as proof that every account still exposes the same filter set.
Use the standard generation workflow for new companion scenes and the identity-sensitive Advanced generation workflow to understand why files may appear under different mode filters.
Track edited and video derivatives
An edit and the source image may represent different stages of the same asset. Tag the file that is ready to keep, and use a status tag when another edit is still needed. The one-change-at-a-time image-editing workflow helps reduce ambiguous versions.
For video, tag the source image and completed clip with the same project label. The source-image, motion, duration, resolution, and audio workflow explains which settings distinguish the video from its still image.
Separate private organization from public visibility
A Collection tag is an organizational label. It does not by itself publish the item. Public Profiles use separate visibility controls, and only media explicitly made public should appear to other users. Use the workflow for publishing selected media and reviewing profile visibility before sharing a Collection item.
Some global tags may appear automatically. The official changelog notes that automated classification may be inaccurate, so review and adjust tags rather than treating them as authoritative.
Maintain the Collection as it grows
Choose five to ten core tags, merge near-duplicates in your own naming practice, and review untagged media periodically. Before deleting a file, check whether it is a source for an edit, video, highlight, or public-profile item. Hiding a public item and deleting it have different consequences.
