Quick answer: Copy the unsent message first. Then shorten it, wait for any current response to finish, and test one simple message in another chat. A failure in one conversation suggests a chat-state problem; failure everywhere points to the browser, account, allowance, or service.
Confirm what “not sending” looks like
Common states include a disabled Send button, a spinner that never completes, a retry that creates no response, or a message that disappears after refresh. Long text can also hit the tier’s message-length limit. Companion replies do not count as user messages, but user messages are subject to the current account allowance.

Run a controlled delivery test
- Copy the original text to a safe local note.

- Try a private browser window if both chats fail.
- Check the daily allowance and account identity before sending repeated tests.
Do not repeatedly press Send. Duplicate requests can obscure the original state and may create multiple outputs if the connection recovers.
Interpret the test before resetting anything
A short message that works while a long one fails points to length or formatting. A second chat that works points to the original conversation. A private window that works points to browser state or an extension. Failure across browsers and chats is stronger evidence for an account or service issue.

Preserve the failed state for support
Send support the approximate time, time zone, browser, message length, whether an image was attached, whether another chat worked, and the exact error. A short redacted sample is usually enough.
