Confirm the memory was in this scope
Search the memory panel for the exact fact and inspect all relevant categories. Then confirm whether the chat is private or assigned to a Memory Group. A memory in another group is not available simply because the companion is the same. Also check whether the entry was renamed, merged, or moved after a Memory Change Request rather than fully removed.
If the memory never appeared at all, use the saving guide instead.

Check recent actions that can remove or hide it
- Confirm the signed-in account and companion.
- Review whether the chat or memory category changed.
- Check whether Time Travel or message editing removed the source branch.
- Check whether a private chat was deleted.
- Look for a Memory Change Request that replaced the old fact.
- Do not recreate the memory until you know whether another copy exists.
Recreate only after ruling out duplicates
Before recreating it, note whether the source chat still exists and whether the fact should be private or shared. If the memory is truly gone and the source fact remains valid, add it once and verify the panel. If several related entries remain, use the duplicate and incorrect memory guide before adding another conflicting copy.

Provide the account, companion, scope, approximate creation and disappearance times, category, recent Time Travel or deletion actions, and screenshots if available. Do not send unrelated memory entries.
